The Hamlin Fistula® Welfare and Research Ltd is a non-profit company, incorporated in Australia in 1996 and a registered Charity.

It operates in close association with the "Hamlin Fistula® Welfare and Research Trust" in Ethiopia which has the oversight of the management of the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital.

The Australian Company is controlled by a Board of eight Directors and devotes its efforts to support the work of the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital in Ethiopia.

Its Directors and administrative staff are voluntary. Overhead costs are tightly controlled and kept to a minimum.

Interest earned from monies in transit covers overhead costs, so that every cent in every dollar donated, is available for the Addis Ababa Fistula Hospital for the treatment and care of fistula patients.
